We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Practitioner to join a highly regarded primary school in Southwark. This is a fulltime permanent position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic EYFS setting with children at the start of their educational journey. The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute to a thriving and supportive team environment focused on childrens development wellbeing and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver highquality teaching and learning experiences that engage and challenge children within the EYFS framework.
- Support childrens development in all areas of the curriculum including communication literacy numeracy physical development and personal social and emotional development.
- Plan and prepare stimulating activities that foster creativity critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
- Observe and assess childrens progress regularly and use this information to inform next steps in planning.
- Provide a caring supportive and inclusive environment that ensures each child feels valued and safe.
- Work alongside the EYFS team to develop and implement new initiatives that enhance childrens learning experiences.
- Build positive relationships with parents offering feedback and guidance to support learning at home.
- Maintain a high standard of classroom management ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in an EYFS setting with a good understanding of child development.
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and a commitment to creating highquality learning experiences for young children.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
- A caring compassionate approach to working with children with a focus on their overall wellbeing and development.
