Lewis Apartment Communitiesa division of one of the largest privately owned Real Estate developers and Property Managers in the nation currently seeks an experiencedMaintenance Supervisorto rove between communities as needed within our Northern California Region.
PLEASE NOTE: This role will begin as a roving Maintenance Supervisor in the NorCal region then transfer to the Independence in Dixon project as onsite Maintenance Supervisor.
Great opportunity for a proactive and positive team right candidate should have a strong proven supervisory background along with strong experience in all aspects of general residential maintenance.
Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Management of Maintenance and Grounds staff
- Strong all-around maintenance skills in the apartment industry
- Experience in carpentry electrical HVAC plumbing painting and appliance (dishwashers washers/dryers etc) installation and repair
- Construction renovation and/or lease up experience a plus
- Making ready units for new occupancy
- Interaction with community manager and staff
- Walking property with community managers
- Maintaining units of current residents
- Managing/negotiating with outside vendors
- Administrative reporting and expense management
- Maintaining the leasing office and all recreation facilities
- Requires reliable transportation and valid drivers license.

Other requirements include:
- Moving and transporting heavy objects as needed
- Bending/stooping/walking repeatedly over time and throughout your community.
- Ascend/descend stairs and ladders as required.
- Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the general public by speaking/reading/writing English.
To be Successful your background should include:
- Prior staff supervision background
- Strong all-around residential maintenance skills in the apartment/residential industry
- Experience in carpentry electrical HVAC plumbing painting and appliance (dishwashers washers stoves etc.) installation and repair
- HVAC Certification is a big plus
ADDITIONAL INFO:
This position will require reliable transportation and a valid drivers license for traveling by car to various communities in the Northern CA region (Antelope Roseville Natomas Sacramento Tracy and Vacaville).An on-call phone is rotated for any properties needing Maintenance Supervisor coverage.

In addition to a competitive hourly wage ($40-44/hourdepending on experience) Lewis Maintenance Supervisors earn:
