History Teacher Outstanding School Wandsworth
An Outstanding Ofstedrated secondary school in the vibrant London borough of Wandsworth seeks a dedicated and knowledgeable History Teacher to join their thriving and highly successful Humanities department. This is a fulltime permanent position teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5 teaching for a suitably experienced candidate).
Responsibilities:
The successful History Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that foster critical thinking source analysis and a deep understanding of the past. You will cover a range of historical periods preparing students for GCSE and potentially ALevel examinations. Developing students historical skills assessing progress rigorously and providing constructive feedback are key parts of this History Teacher role.
Requirements:
Applicants must be a qualified History Teacher (QTS) with a degree in History or a closely related field. Proven experience teaching History at the secondary level is essential ideally with a track record of excellent student outcomes. Strong subject knowledge a passion for history and excellent communication skills are required. We need an inspiring History Teacher.
