An Outstanding Ofstedrated secondary school in the London Borough of Croydon requires a knowledgeable and dedicated Economics Teacher to join their thriving department. This is a fulltime permanent position primarily teaching Key Stages 4 and 5. The school provides a stimulating academic environment and encourages students to engage critically with the economic world.
Responsibilities:
The successful Economics Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that connect economic theory to realworld applications. You will develop students understanding of core economic principles prepare them for success in Economics examinations (GCSE and ALevel) and foster critical thinking and analytical skills. Assessing student progress providing insightful feedback and contributing to the Economics curriculum are key responsibilities for this Economics Teacher role. An excellent Economics Teacher is needed.
Requirements:
Candidates must be a qualified Economics Teacher (QTS) with a degree in Economics or a closely related field. Proven experience teaching Economics at the secondary level (Key Stages 4 and 5 is essential. Strong subject knowledge a passion for economics and excellent communication and classroom management skills are required.
