The Role Responsibilities
As a Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles) you will:

• Teach Textiles across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the opportunity to teach ALevel depending on experience.

• Inspire creativity through engaging practical projects focused on design materials sustainability and innovation.

• Prepare students for both practical assessments and theoretical components of examination courses.

• Work collaboratively within a team of Design and Technology Teachers (Textiles) to enhance curriculum and resources.

• Support the organisation of enrichment activities such as clubs fashion events and exhibitions.

• Contribute to ongoing curriculum development department planning and schoolwide initiatives.
