About the Role
As an experienced Art Teacher your responsibilities will include:
Teaching Art and Design across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with the opportunity to teach ALevel content and challenge students in the study of fine art.
Designing and delivering engaging lessons in a variety of media such as drawing painting printmaking and digital art as part of the Art Teacher role.
Inspiring students to think critically develop their creativity and find their individual artistic voices.
Providing constructive feedback and assessments to ensure students progress and achievement in Art.
Contributing to the wider life of the Art Department including leading art clubs organizing exhibitions and creating enrichment opportunities for students.
Collaborating with colleagues to refine the curriculum and share best practices within the Art Department.
What Were Looking For
We welcome applications from experienced Art Teachers who:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art Fine Art or Art & Design.
Have a proven track record of teaching Art at Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with a strong ability to deliver ALevel content.
Are passionate about art education with a deep understanding of artistic techniques history and theory.
Can engage and challenge students of all abilities maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour within the Art Department.
Are collaborative enthusiastic and contribute to the ongoing development of the Art Department.
Have excellent communication skills and are committed to their own personal and professional development as an Art Teacher.
