About the Role
As an Art Teacher you will be responsible for:
Delivering highquality teaching across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 including ALevel content ensuring students have the opportunity to explore and develop their artistic talents.
Creating engaging and challenging lessons in a variety of artistic disciplines including drawing painting printmaking and digital art.
Encouraging students to think critically and creatively guiding them to find their unique artistic voice.
Providing feedback and assessment to support students development and academic progress in Art.
Contributing to the wider life of the Art Department by leading extracurricular activities such as art clubs exhibitions and competitions.
Collaborating with colleagues to continually improve the curriculum and share best practices within the Art Department.
What Were Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Art Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art Fine Art or Art & Design.
Has proven experience teaching Art at Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with the ability to deliver ALevel content.
Is passionate about art education with a strong understanding of a variety of artistic techniques and artistic theory.
Can inspire and challenge students of all abilities ensuring high standards of achievement in Art.
Works collaboratively with other members of the Art Department contributing to the development of both the curriculum and the broader school culture.
Has excellent communication skills and is committed to their own personal and professional development as an Art Teacher.
