About the Role
As an Art Teacher you will be responsible for:

• Delivering highquality teaching across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 including ALevel content ensuring students have the opportunity to explore and develop their artistic talents.

• Creating engaging and challenging lessons in a variety of artistic disciplines including drawing painting printmaking and digital art.

• Encouraging students to think critically and creatively guiding them to find their unique artistic voice.

• Providing feedback and assessment to support students development and academic progress in Art.

• Contributing to the wider life of the Art Department by leading extracurricular activities such as art clubs exhibitions and competitions.

• Collaborating with colleagues to continually improve the curriculum and share best practices within the Art Department.

What Were Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Art Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art Fine Art or Art & Design.

• Has proven experience teaching Art at Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with the ability to deliver ALevel content.

• Is passionate about art education with a strong understanding of a variety of artistic techniques and artistic theory.

• Can inspire and challenge students of all abilities ensuring high standards of achievement in Art.

• Works collaboratively with other members of the Art Department contributing to the development of both the curriculum and the broader school culture.

• Has excellent communication skills and is committed to their own personal and professional development as an Art Teacher.
