About the Role
As an Art Teacher you will:

• Teach Art and Design across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to teach ALevel students depending on your development and interests.

• Develop and deliver creative engaging lessons in a range of art forms including drawing painting sculpture and digital media.

• Encourage students to think critically and express themselves through their art fostering creativity and individuality.

• Support students development through formative feedback assessments and constructive guidance in their artistic journey.

• Contribute to the Art Departments extracurricular activities including running art clubs exhibitions and other creative projects.

• Work closely with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and develop new strategies to inspire and motivate students in Art.

What Were Looking For
We are looking for an ECT who:

• Holds or will soon achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Art Fine Art or a related subject.

• Is passionate about Art and eager to inspire and support students in their artistic development.

• Has a creative approach to teaching with the ability to engage students and help them discover their artistic potential.

• Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive supportive environment for students.

• Is willing to learn grow and receive feedback as part of their professional development journey as an Art Teacher.

• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team and contributing to the wider school community.
