Purpose of the role:
As an Accountant at Bombay Group youll play a key role in maintaining precise financial records overseeing monthly and annual closings and providing valuable reports and insights to senior management. How you will contribute:
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records in line with accounting principles and company policies.
- Oversee the monthly and annual financial closing processes including journal entries reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Analyze financial data to assess company performance identify trends and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports and strategic insights to senior management.
- Lead the budget preparation process including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Coordinate the preparation and review of financial statements and audit documentation.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.
- Supervise invoicing processes ensuring accuracy compliance and prompt dispatch.
- Manage and audit stock inventory ensuring accuracy and forecasting future supply needs.
- Stay uptodate with changes in accounting regulations and standards.
What we are looking for:
- At least 2 years of handson experience across a wide range of accounting activities.
- A degree in finance accounting or a related field.
- Experience with international taxation particularly within the EU and familiarity with VAT regulations across multiple countries including Estonia ideally in industries like shipping with crossborder VAT applications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial data and reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively under pressure.
- A proactive analytical mindset with strong problemsolving skills and a focus on informed decisionmaking.
- High standards of integrity honesty and accountability in all financial matters.
- Clear and confident communication skills in both English and Estonian.

Youll join the Bombay Finance team a group of 15 people including our CFO Finance Manager Financial Controller and fellow Accountants all providing financial support across all Bombay Group business units.
