Job Description

Join Frends as Our First Customer & Community Marketing Manager!

At Frends were redefining the future of enterprise integrations automation and API Europeanborn developertrusted platform empowers IT and business teams alike to build automate and modernize faster with transparency and full control.

As we scale rapidly across Europe and beyond were strengthening our marketing team and seeking a Customer & Community Marketing Manager.

PS: Important to know that this role needs to be located in one of our office countries (Finland Sweden Netherlands Germany). If you arent able to relocate or work from these countries your application will be automatically rejected.


What Youll Lead and Build


Customer Activation & Retention

  • Build programs to drive product adoption upsell crosssell and loyalty across our customer base.
  • Create success journeys that guide users from onboarding to advocacy working closely with Customer Success and Product.
  • Support PLG (ProductLed Growth) or PLS (ProductLed Sales) motions by optimizing how users engage selfserve and expand usage.

Community Development

  • Launch and nurture a vibrant user and developer community both digitally and through inperson events
  • Create engagement initiatives (webinars AMAs peer groups competitions) that turn users into ambassadors
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales to bring customer voices into roadmaps and gotomarket initiatives

Partner Marketing & Activation

  • Build comarketing initiatives with key technology and channel partners (e.g. Microsoft Visma).
  • Create partner enablement content and joint success stories that strengthen the Frends partner ecosystem.
  • Drive awareness and pipeline generation through partnerled webinars campaigns and events.

Insights and Growth Loops

  • Monitor community health metrics customer feedback and usage patterns.
  • Use insights to improve onboarding expand education efforts and surface expansion opportunities.

PS: Important to know that this isnt a Social Media Management role. Its about building communities with users and Clevel buyers.


What You Bring

  • 5 years of experience in Customer Marketing and Community Management in B2B SaaS.
  • Proven track record building highengagement programs for technical audiences (developers architects IT leaders).
  • Experience designing and executing customer onboarding advocacy and retention campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of PLG/PLS motions and customer lifecycle strategies.
  • Strong crossfunctional skills: working with Product CS and Sales.
  • Analytical mindset: You can measure what matters and iterate based on insights.
  • Fluent English written and spoken. Bonus if you have experience in Europefocused or multiregion community building.

Bonus additions

  • Experience with integration platforms iPaaS API management or developer tools.
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot community platforms (like Discourse Slack) or community management tools like Circle.
  • Passion for AIdriven community engagement and marketing innovation.
