Description/Job Summary
SAFETY SENSTIVE POSITION
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. overtime as needed including weekends
Job Summary: Operates and maintains package filling scales sewing lines conveyors etc. Fills product into bags monitoring net weight and sews the product. Responsible for ensuring packaging materials are kept clean and safe. Maintaining quality product (ensure proper counts product appearance of package product) before during and after packaging. Manually stacking and wrapping packaged product. Also responsible for documenting weight checks label and product verification lot code information onto products.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must possess basic math skills. (add subtract multiply and divide)
- Must read speak write and understand English.
- Must be willing and able to climb up to 30 feet.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to bend stoop push pull twist and turn throughout the day.
- Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to be trained to perform basic maintenance on machines.
- Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.
