Position Summary: Responsible for representing the Southern Tier Community Center (STCC) as an official greeter both in person and over the phone while providing office/secretarial support on a daily basis to multiple departments. Responsible for covering the switchboard and maintaining the lobby and reception areas.
Responsibilities:
- Provide main switchboard phone coverage and act as official greeter for the STCC.
- Provide clients guests and staff with program information and assistance.
- Provide secretarial support as needed but not limited to: STCC Director Director of Aquatics Director of Programming School Aged Child Care Directors.
- Keep a current operational knowledge of RecDesk and how to accept payments and register people for programs and memberships.
- Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner meeting all standards of content and professional presentation.
- Responsible for ordering supplies for various Agency departments and maintaining supplies in the mailroom and reception area.
- Responsible for forwarding incoming emails for the STCC to the appropriate person.
- Receive and ensure prompt distribution of all STCC mail.
- Prepare daily bank deposits for the operating account with the checks and cash from the day.
- Professionally handle changing responsibilities and demands. Perform consistently under pressure and in emergencies.
- Remain current on developments in related workspecific trends including technology enhancements.
- Safe guard all agency equipment property and transactions promptly identifying concerns and/or deficiencies.
Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma / GED required
- Associates Degree preferred
Experience:
- 12 years related experience preferred
