The Opportunity:
As an individual contributor BDM youll own the full sales cycle for SLED accounts while supporting our Sales VP in managing strategic federal/state government relationships. This is a hunterfarmer role where youll both develop new business and nurture existing client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive revenue growth across state/local governments and education (SLED) sectors
Manage and expand relationships with existing government clients nationwide
Support Sales VP in strategic Gov/state account management
Develop winning proposals for RFPs/RFIs/RFQs across multiple contract vehicles
Maintain 45x pipeline coverage of quarterly targets
Represent BuzzClan at government tech conferences and industry events
Collaborate with solutions teams to architect clientspecific offerings
Qualifications :
MustHave Qualifications:
5 years selling IT services to government (SLED)
Proven track record managing $5M government accounts
Deep understanding of government procurement cycles and contracting
Experience with GWACs IDIQs and state cooperative contracts
Ability to work independently as an individual contributor
Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30
Preferred Experience But Not Mandatory:
Existing relationships with government IT buyers
Knowledge of Texas DIR NASPO and other cooperative contracts
Background in IT staffing cloud or data solutions
Familiarity with government security requirements (FedRAMP CJIS)
