Job Description
Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III Structure & Bridge Design candidate for our Richmond VA office location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:
- Perform routine and complex design of steel piles and steel connections.
- Perform routine and complex design of castinplace concrete slabs.
- Understanding of general renewable energy nomenclature
- Assist with the development of scope schedule and budgets for projects
- Assist with the management of projects and tasks
- Assist with marketing and proposal development
Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required Masters degree preferred
- 2 years of structure and/or bridge design experience required
- PE License is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in structural design software packages specifically LPile Mathcad Excel
- Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD for plan development
- Proficiency with Excel/AutoCAD interoperability to create pile plot plans
