Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by the business needs of the team.  

This role can be based in San Francisco CA.  

We are looking for a Sr. Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and organizational support to a Vice President of Product. In this role youll work directly with the VP and will be responsible for a mix of administrative and operational activities including scheduling team events and more. The ideal candidate will be proactive organized able to maintain strict confidentiality of corporate and personal information and bring a blend of professionalism passion and flexibility to the role.   

Responsibilities:   

  • Plan organize and manage executive calendar (resolve conflicts and protect / align time with priorities)   
  • Independently organize and ensure preparedness for internal and external meetings and special events including all hands offsites culture events and team building 
  • Anticipate critical rhythm of the business initiatives   
  • Coordinate all domestic and international travel arrangements    
  • Manage and reconcile expense reports purchase orders and procurement requisitions in accordance with budget and department and companywide policies and standards    
  • Partner with communications and public relations teams and others on companywide and external communications   
  • Proficiently answer screen and route internal and external correspondence requests subpoenas and other communications   
  • Provide backup support for other administrative assistants when needed and champion the admin community    
  • Maintain email distribution lists / aliases   
  • Support special projects as needed   
  • Act as a point of contact with Workplace Services to meet facility needs for the team   
  • Take leadership role to improve structure efficiency and of the organization   
  • Drive changes in systems tools and processes and establish and share best practices   
  • Maintain a strict degree of confidentiality along with excellent judgement discretion and a high degree of maturity/professionalism   
  • Apply judgment with full understanding of urgency and priorities of the business routinely needing to multitask with little to no direction   

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 4 years of experience working at the Senior Level in an administrative or coordination role 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working as a trusted business partner to a CSuite level executive 
  • Thrives in a fastpaced demanding environment   
  • High operational ability to execute quickly with strong attention to detail and accuracy  
  • Excellent communication analytical and organizational skills   
  • Ability to professionally interact with senior leaders and anticipate their needs  
  • Comfortable collaborating with other Sr. EAs in order to get things done and ensure LinkedIn achieves its mission 
  • Demonstrates ability to be proactive take initiative and exercise good judgment discretion and confidentiality in all tasks  
  • Ability to effectively manage time prioritize tasks and work within deadlines and handle high level of ambiguity  
  • Consistently able to solve complex problems creatively after indepth evaluation of variable factors  
  • Collaborative spirit with ability to act as a team culture steward and build relationships mentor and work effectively across Exec Admin team at LinkedIn   
  • Demonstrates excellent understanding of how an organization operates across functions  
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Outlook Word PowerPoint Excel) and familiarity with cloudbased applications (SharePoint)   
  • Ability to set up and manage virtual meetings via MS Teams and Zoom

The pay range for this role is $71000 to $116000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus stock benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
