Job Description
This is an entry level position on the manufacturing floor. Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs tasks or duties as required; and must be able to work any shift overtime and weekends as required.
The tasks required but not limited to are general housekeeping clean up sweeping vacuuming painting lubrication (oiling greasing etc. sample retrieval power washing lifting and hauling items up and down stairs dump rework and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Relevant Experience: Previous relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge data entry
Competencies:
- Be active and participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams
- Learn and follow written rules and procedures
- Produce accurate documentation
- Maintain acceptable attendance
- Must be willing and able to learn various positions
- Must fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies.
Additional Information :
Physical: Ability to lift 50 pounds climb stairs lift bend kneel stand for long periods of time work in confined spaces and work with heights
Pay Rate: $17.92 per hour
