Job Description
Today Wise customers can send and exchange money in over 40 currencies. By this time next year we aim to make Wise available in all 175 currencies worldwide and thats where you come in! Our goal is to empower people and businesses to send money wherever they need making money truly work without borders. In this role youll first work closely with our Swift team to open up Wise as broadly as possible. During this exciting expansion phase youll collaborate with operations financial crime and treasury teams to ensure the new routes run smoothly and compliantly.
Once coverage over Swift is achieved youll partner with our banking team to efficiently implement the remaining currencies by working with global payment aggregators or with regional teams via local banks and payment service providers. Once our customers can send money anywhere in the world youll have the chance to solve the puzzle of eliminating hidden fees making Wises global payment network the most transparent one out there.
Youll maximise your chances of being successful in this role if you:
- have a strong passion for solving complex problems with analytics and tech
- have ability to structure ambiguous situations with clarity enabling a large group of people to work together effortlessly
- can communicate your ideas clearly inside Wise as well as to our partners and customers
- have an entrepreneurial spirit to get the right things done
