Job Description

  • Who Youll Work With

    Join our Test Process Optimization and Control (POC) team where we leverage cuttingedge methodologies and technologies to solve highvalue problems in advanced magnetic recording media manufacturing. This is your opportunity to kickstart a career that shapes the future of Smart Manufacturing.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Work with team to define the process gating for efficiency enhancement and work for the solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal process teams to analyze requirements and define algorithm specifications.
  • Develop and test machine learning algorithms and software solutions for media test.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Test equipment & software technical issues.
  • Support team members in Test team and for crossfunction projects and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications :

Education:

  • Masters or Bachelors in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering.

Preferred:

  • Basic understanding of image processing techniques.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g. OpenCV CNN).
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with database applications.
  • Knowledge of data science techniques including data analysis statistical modeling and data visualization. Proficient in data statistical and visualization tools like JMP and Spotfire.
  • Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.
  • Proficiency in C C and Java with a strong understanding of objectoriented programming (OOP) principles.
  • Ability to write clean maintainable code following software design best practices.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Publication of academic papers or participation in major international data science or computer vision industry conferences is a strong advantage.
  • Contributions to opensource projects research papers or universitybased ML work.
