Location
You may work from one of our offices based in the UK US or Germany or in a hybrid arrangement which suits you. The successful candidate is required to have the right to work in their country of residence. We are unable to offer Visa sponsorship for this role.
Contract type
Initial 12month fixed term fulltime 40 hours per week). Flexible working or reduced hours will be considered for this role.

Role Purpose
ISD is looking to recruit a Web and Social Media Manager to act as steward to our web properties enhance our digital communications increase the visibility and impact of our work and help ensure our voice is heard across online channels. The post holder will oversee the daily management and strategic development of ISDs digital platforms including all our website and social media accounts ensuring our digital properties are safe secure and compelling. They will develop and deliver engaging content manage outreach campaigns analyse our footprint and impact maintain our systems and recommend improvements in support of ISDs mission and work.
Key responsibilities include:
Website Management 60
Lead the management maintenance and content development of ISDs website
Ensure site content is accurate timely accessible and optimised for search and user experience
Oversee the implementation of SEO best practices
Work with external developers and vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and deliver platform improvements
Manage web analytics tools to report on traffic engagement and performance
Social Media Management 30
Support on the development and implementation of social media strategies alongside the Communications Team to amplify ISDs voice and engagement
Assist in managing content production planning and scheduling across ISDs social platforms (currently LinkedIn Instagram YouTube Bluesky)
Create commission and edit highquality multimedia content (text images video etc)
Systems and Support 10
Maintain content calendars and scheduling tools
Manage digital asset libraries and content archive
