Job Description
Shipping & Receiving Manager
Location: Pensacola FL
Job Description:
The Shipping & Receiving Manager will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving operations of the company. This includes managing a team of shipping and receiving clerks ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and on time and maintaining inventory levels. The Shipping Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing shipping policies and procedures as well as identifying areas for improvement in the shipping process.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the shipping and receiving operations of the company
- Manage a team of shipping and receiving clerks
- Ensure that all shipments are processed accurately and on time
- Maintain inventory levels
- Develop and implement shipping policies and procedures
- Identify areas for improvement in the shipping process
- Communicate with other departments to ensure that shipping needs are met
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and requirements
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in shipping and receiving
- 2 years of experience in a management role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipping software
