Job Description
OVERVIEW OF COMPANY AND POSITION
Family owned and operated for over 40 years Bob Ruth Ford Inc. is South Central Pennsylvanias fastest growing dealership. The Accounting Clerk is responsible forproviding accounting and office support for dealership operations. This includes but is not limited to Accounts Receivable (AR) support Accounts Payable (AP) support general office duties and warranty support. This is an entry level general accounting position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (REQUIRED)
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A good work ethic and solid organizational skills
- Basic accounting experience is preferred
- Strong communication skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS (PREFERRED)
- An Associates degree in accounting or a related field
- A familiarity with AR/AP processes and regulations
JOB DUTIES
- This position entails the general accounting light title work as well as paying off vehicles for our vehicle buying operation.
- Stocking in vehicles
- Communicating with customers sales managers title office and the Vehicle Buying Center
- Ability to work independently and resolve issues
- Willing to assist in other tasks throughout the department
- Other duties as assigned by the Controller
