Position Title:National Account Manager

Location: Remote U.S. Based

Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer

Employment Status: Fulltime FLSA Status: Exempt Pay Grade: Salary


About the Role

The National Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships and projects for a key portfolio of customer accounts while providing a culture of responsiveness and transparency driving engagement and retention. This role will also focus on new opportunities for relationship development from market research to onboarding activities in partnership with the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple key accounts simultaneously networking to build transparent trusting and professional relationships ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Act as the liaison between assigned accounts and internal teams following up on all queries and complaints to provide a transparent and unmatched customer experience.
  • Identify prospective strategic customers for the sales team utilizing a variety of PLA tools.
  • Partner with the sales team to onboard new customers and vendors.
  • Provide ongoing support to maintain and strengthen customer relationships through various forms of communication understanding current and future needs and obtaining feedback on their satisfaction.
  • Support the sales team through regular customer data and metrics reporting leveraging the data to identify trends and suggest innovative ways to increase their experience and overall satisfaction.
  • Maintain and expand organizational technical and industry knowledge through market trends analysis best practices and a thorough understanding of PLA services.
  • Represent and promote the PLA Family of Companies at a variety of events.
  • Update customer data within the appropriate systems as needed.
  • Foster exceptional and collaborative partnerships with PLA staff and customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education

  • 2 years of sales or account management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience building relationships and a strong customerfocused mindset.
  • Proficiency with CRM software HubSpot and Zoom Info a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in business marketing or related preferred.

Physical & Environment

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Most duties are performed in a climatecontrolled environment. May occasionally perform tasks that are offsite which require varying forms of travel. Hazards require the use of personal protective equipment while in the facilities.
