QAInspections LLC located in Gray Maine is seeking qualified construction inspectors to join our team in the spring of 2025. We offer both fulltime and parttime positions with projects situated in New Hampshire and Maine. The ideal candidates will be selfmotivated ambitious and highly engaged.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document field observations of construction activities performed by contractors. This includes but is not limited to sanitary sewer and stormwater collection underground utilities civil site work as well as architectural structural mechanical plumbing instrumentation and electrical installations.
- Interpret construction drawings specifications and related codes and standards effectively.
- Ensure that all installed work adheres to design documents approved submittals and established best construction practices.
- Identify any discrepancies or conflicts within documentation and communicate deficiencies to the appropriate parties.
- Coordinate and communicate with construction contractors municipal representatives and private property owners in a collaborative and productive manner while prioritizing the interests of the client.
- Discuss plans specifications and schedules with project managers engineers contractors utility companies and various governmental agencies.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
Qualifications:
- A fouryear degree or a minimum of ten years of directly related work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in construction oversight related to water wastewater and sewer systems infrastructure improvements.
- Proficient knowledge of soil compaction methods for testing.
- Experience in treatment plants is required.
- Familiarity with instrumentation HVAC and electrical systems is considered advantageous.
- Proficiency in utilizing software such as Fulcrum Bluebeam Submittal Exchange Red Team and/or Procore is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Effective personal organization and time management capabilities.
- Ability to cultivate strong working relationships with colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining thorough and accurate records.
Pay Rate: The compensation structure begins at $45 per hour and may reach up to $55 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
