Job Description

The Food & Beverage Manager oversees all food and beverage operations at the Hilton Garden Inn and the Dual Property consisting of Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites located in the Irvine Spectrum / Lake Forest area. This includes managing a fullservice restaurant bar operations breakfast services and culinary operations. The Manager ensures an exceptional guest experience operational efficiency financial performance and compliance with Hilton brand standards while leading and supporting a dedicated and engaged team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily food and beverage operations including restaurant service breakfast offerings bar operations and culinary activities.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards health regulations and safety requirements.
  • Monitor quality standards for food preparation service and presentation to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory levels purchasing and cost controls to maximize profitability.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to support efficiency and quality.
  • Hire train coach and supervise the food and beverage team members.
  • Conduct preshift meetings and regular staff communication to ensure clear expectations and motivation.
  • Evaluate employee performance and support professional development through coaching and feedback.
  • Foster a positive respectful and serviceoriented work environment.
  • Proactively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle concerns or complaints professionally.
  • Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Develop promotions events and service enhancements to drive revenue and guest engagement.
  • Achieve financial goals related to food and beverage revenue labor management and cost of goods sold.
  • Review financial reports and operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support the preparation of budgets forecasts and business plans for food and beverage operations.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Events and Culinary teams to ensure operational alignment.
  • Maintain effective communication with all hotel departments to support smooth daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of food and beverage management experience in a hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing restaurant bar and breakfast service operations.
  • Knowledge of budgeting cost control and inventory management.
  • Excellent interpersonal organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and pointofsale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings evenings weekends and holidays.
  • Experience with Hilton brand standards and systems.
  • Food Manager Safety Certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
