Description of Work

Position is funded in part through federal funds.

Position serves as a regional consultant and trainer for the Business Relations Representatives (BRRs) and other staff who engage existing and potential business customers for the purpose of placement of persons with disabilities served by NCEIPD into competitive employment. This position is subject to relocation.

Job Responsibilities include the Following:

  • Providing support technical assistance and content expertise in the area of business development to regional staff and management.
  • Ensuring that the quality and level of employer services are within agency expectations and professional standards.
  • Providing guidance and direction for the Western region regarding the agencys business development model.
  • Providing updates and relevant information in regularly scheduled meetings with the 25 BRRs in the West.
  • Serves as the liaison with the State Office Program Specialist for Employer Services and the Western Regional Management Team.
  • Work with regional employer accounts to help maximize employment opportunities for the people receiving services from NCEIPD.
  • Meet with local BRRs to provide information that will enable them to better meet their customers needs and to improve their skills in identifying and securing employment opportunities for individuals served.

Management preference will be given to candidates with:
  • Valid drivers license required as position requires travel.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelors degree in a human services or business field such as human resources marketing business administration business management healthcare management or public administration from an appropriately accredited institution
OR
Associates degree in a human services or business field (identified above) from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of directly related work experience
OR
High school or General Educational Development (GED) and four years of directly related work experience
OR
an equivalent combination of education and experience.
