In this leadership role you will be responsible for the overall administration of the regional office and supervision of the regional office staff. A key function of the Assistant Administrator 1 is to analyze the utilization of the offices services through a review of available statistics reports and patterns of referrals or requests for services. This includes monitoring and evaluating supervisor staff performance and quality assurance as compared to service delivery and staff efficiency and effectiveness. Additional duties include planning organizing and assigning work establishing office goals and priorities interviewing and selecting candidates when vacancies occur and providing orientation and training to new supervisors. You will have the opportunity to speak to or select other Regional Office staff to speak to community groups agencies and others about current OCYF issues DHS/OCYF services and community responsibilities. If requested this position Investigates and prepares responses to inquiries with OCYF from federal and state agencies on compliance issues concerning regulations and policies. Your work may involve performing special projects as requested by the Executive Director DHS and the Deputy Director or Assistant Deputy Director OCYF.
