St. Thomas More is recruiting for a Senior High Math and Science Teacher for theSchool Year. This is a probationary position with the possibility of a continuous contract if the candidate is successful. Course assignment includes courses in Secondary Math & Sciences Grades 912.
The teacher would teach various math/science courses and create a quality learning environment for students throughout the province. Courses will include various courses in the area of senior high academic Math and Science in grades 912 and potentially other courses depending on course enrollment and teachers skill set.
The successful candidate ideally will have training knowledge and experience in secondary education and require a high degree of technical proficiency in the use of educational technology providing education from a distance an understanding of assessment for learning inclusive education Indigenous students and be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta. Experience with PowerSchool would be an asset.
Preference will be given to candidates of the Catholic faith.
