Enabling the movement toward advanced chip design KLAs Measurement Analytics and Control group (MACH) is looking for the best and brightest research scientists software engineers application development engineers and senior product technology process engineers to join our team. The MACH teams mission is to collaborate with our customers to innovate technologies and solutions that detect and control highly complex process variationsat their sourcerather than compensate for them at later stages of the manufacturing process. With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp nextgeneration devices to volume production quickly and costeffectively. Our MACH team develops leadingedge solutions for patterning process analytics and control technologies thereby providing customers with critical insight at the feature level field level and crosswafer analysis. Our teams also develop advanced modeling simulation data analytics and process control modeling technologies. As a member of the MACH team youll be joining the most sophisticated and successful processcontrol company in the semiconductor industryworking across functions to solve the most complex technical problems in the digital age.Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Were seeking a talented and motivated Applications Development (AppsDev) Engineer intern to join our team in Austin for the summer of 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new feature for our software by collaborating closely with our software development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other applications development engineers to define and document the feature requirements. Learn underlying feature subject from Applications team subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Create and execute Acceptance/Alphatest plan.
- Generate training document.
- Participate in Agile Sprint reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Seek opportunities for optimization and enhancement within the feature development process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors Masters or PhD degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience with Semiconductors or Semiconductor Manufacturing.
- Experience with or exposure to Software Development / Coding
- Experience creating WorkFlow Recipes in 5D Analyzer
Minimum Qualifications
