What Youll Do:
Join our dynamic Global Supplier Management and Sourcing team where youll be a key driver in forging strategic partnerships that fuel technical innovation uphold rigorous quality standards and deliver significant cost savings through optimized supply chain solutions.
As a Global Sourcing Manager youll be the primary commercial lead for critical hardware systems and products powering our cuttingedge data center deployments. Youll spearhead strategic sourcing initiatives build robust supplier relationships and ensure supply chain resilience by developing diverse sourcing options. Your expertise will be vital in navigating the hardware landscape leading complex negotiations and collaborating with engineering teams to shape business and technology roadmaps.
Leveraging your deep industry knowledge and strategic supplier connections youll optimize the total cost of ownership for our rapidly expanding global infrastructure. Youll lead crossfunctional teams through the supplier selection process for new platforms and components secure favorable agreements and continuously assess supplier performance across cost quality delivery and technology alignment.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing Leadership: Develop implement and refine comprehensive sourcing strategies and roadmaps to drive continuous improvement.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Maintain a pulse on emerging technologies and industry trends to conduct insightful competitive analyses.
- Executive Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with executive leadership at core suppliers influencing their business models and technology roadmaps.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead complex supplier negotiations manage RFQs/RFPs and finalize business awards.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Own and implement master supply agreements and statements of work (SOWs).
- New Product Introduction (NPI) & Production Support: Drive commercial engagements for prototype sourcing and development supporting seamless transitions from NPI to mass production.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Propose and implement innovative supply chain enhancements to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Qualifications
- 8 years of proven experience in data center hyperscaler cloud service provider or AI system hardware supply chain and related industries.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering a related technical field or Business Administration. Equivalent experience in hightech commodity management will be considered.
- Masters degree in a technical engineering field or Business Administration (Preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into tangible results and drive .
- Exceptional negotiation influencing and consensusbuilding skills.
- Experience collaborating effectively with internal and external partners in fastpaced crossfunctional environments.
- Strong understanding of should cost modeling and value analysis.
- Proven experience partnering with Csuite executives and key supplier stakeholders.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120000$150000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience.
