Job Description

The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the nontenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Neuroophthalmology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification in Neurology or Ophthalmology.

Teaching responsibilities may include supervising and teaching students residents and fellows rotating in the Neuroophthalmology clinics; coordinating the PSOM elective Neuroophthalmology rotation; lecturing the Ophthalmology and Neurology residents; and participating in teaching conferences for the fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include Neuroophthalmology clinics at HUP and PAH.

Training requirements: Accredited Ophthalmology or Neurology residency and AUPO accredited Neuroophthalmology fellowship.
