Childrens Medical Center Research Institute at UT Southwestern (CRI) is a joint venture established in 2011 to build upon the scientific excellence of UT Southwestern Medical Center and the clinical expertise of Childrens Medical Center. CRIs mission is to perform transformative biomedical research to better understand the biological basis of disease seeking breakthroughs that can yield new strategies for treating disease. CRI is creating interdisciplinary groups of scientists and physicians to pursue research at the interface of regenerative medicine cancer biology and metabolism fields that hold uncommon potential for advancing science and medicine.

We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support the Director and his laboratory. The Administrative Coordinator must be able to independently and accurately organize the Directors schedule complete complex administrative tasks and interface well with the public university and hospital leaders and peers. We are looking for an energetic detail oriented organized and analytical individual with sound judgement. Successful candidates will be selfstarters who are able to contribute to the efficient use of the Directors time and help ensure that the Directors laboratory and CRI are well run.

Physical Requirements

Remaining in a normal seated or standing position for extended periods of time; reaching and grasping by extending hand(s) or arm(s); dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers for example using a keyboard; communication skills using the spoken word; ability to see and hear within normal parameters; ability to move about workspace. The position requires mobility including the ability to move materials weighing up to several pounds (such as a laptop computer or tablet).

Compensation Range

$65400.00 (minimum) $81781.44 (midpoint) $106300.00 (maximum)

Pay Type:

Annual

HHMIs salary structure is developed based on relevant job market data. HHMI considers a candidates education previous experiences knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal consistency when making job offers. Typically a new hire for this position in this location is compensated between the minimum and the midpoint of the salary range.
