Were on a mission to deliver clean affordable solar energy to homes and businesses across the nation. As a Staff Accountant youll be a key player in keeping our finances shining bright. Youll help manage the daytoday accounting operations support financial reporting and ensure every decimal is in its placeall while being part of a team thats as energized as the sun.
What Youll Do:
Prepare and review accurate financial reports including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger including journal entries and account reconciliations
Assist with monthend and yearend close processes
Analyze financial data to help drive smart strategic decisions
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts alongside the finance team
Help prepare for audits and provide documentation to external auditors
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
Support tax prep activities and work with our tax pros
Spot opportunities to improve our processes and accounting workflows
Collaborate across departments like sales procurement and operations to keep our finances aligned with growth
Who You Are:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
13 years of accounting experience (bonus points if its in a highgrowth environment!
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Comfortable with accounting software and Excel (NetSuite experience a plus)
Detailobsessed and deadlinedriven
A team player who communicates clearly and thinks proactively
