Certified Caregiver

Avana Assisted Living is looking for outstanding and experienced certified caregivers to join our team in providing quality care in a 10resident luxury assisted living home in south Tempe. Join our Avana family and share your talents with a supportive experienced collaborative fun team and amazing residents!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with routine resident personal care needs: dressing bathing toileting incontinent care eating skin care grooming for residents with a variety of care needs.
• Assist in Resident medication administration and treatments following doctors orders
• Meal preparation set up and assistance. Following a daily menu and substitutions.
• Assist in and facilitate engagement (oneonone and group) and participation in planned calendar activities
• Maintain a clean safe and comfortable home environment following a cleaning list and laundry services
• Maintain accurate charting and electronic medication records
• Resident rounds every 2 hours

Essential Functions :

• Lifting and transferring
• Standing for long periods
• Communication with management team members families and residents. Team work!!
• Cooking and familiar with the kitchen
• Working in a NonSmoking Environment
• Awake at night the lights are on
• Able to work alone if needed
