Job Description
Chubb seeks to hire a Claim Examiner for our Multinational Casualty team that provides specialized claim handling on behalf of Chubbs Multinational customers in the U.S. and abroad.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for adjusting bodily injury and property damage claims under Automobile and General Liability (GL) policies including Product Premises Completed Operations and Employers Liability coverages.
- Experience handling international claims is desired but not required.
- In this role you will hone skills in all facets of investigation coverage determination reserving negotiation settlement and overall claim strategy for nonlitigated and litigated low to moderate severity multinational claims.
- The position may require up to 15 travel typically for mediations and trials when required.
- You will also represent the company at claim review meetings with our customers management and business partners in addition to being a U.S. claim resourceto ourglobal claim offices and underwriters.
Qualifications
- 24 years experience as a claims professional with a high degree of specialized and technical competence in the handling of high exposure claims with emphasis on handson file and litigation management.
- Automobile and General Liability (GL) experience in Products Premises Liability Oil / Gas and Energy and trucking
- Strong background and demonstrated ability in dealing with significant coverage matters.
- An understanding of the tenants of insurance and legal principles.
- Working knowledge of industry best practices and procedures.
- An ability to work independently and assimilate learning materials on many different subjects from various sources.
- Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills; and an ability to deal with customers and business partners in a professional manner.
- Ability to make prompt intelligent decisions based upon detailed analysis of complex issues.
- Demonstrated strong relational skills particularly in adverse or highpressure situations.

The pay range for the role is $62200 to $105800. The specific offer will depend on an applicants skills and other factors. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled
