Community Integrated Services (CIS) is currently recruiting a Behavior Analyst in Training in Federal Way Washington.

At CIS your role as Behavior Analyst in Training would be far more involved than simply conducting assessments and writing positive behavior support plans. Each Behavior Analyst in Training has the opportunity and responsibility to conduct functional analyses or functional assessments of client behavior develop individualized behavior supports and teaching strategies train staff members in our residential homes and oversee the implementation of behavior interventions.

CIS is also committed to the advancement of the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and to our personal and professional growth. Our team members are part of a larger network of Behavior Analysts including a team of two BCBADs 18 BCBAs and 10 Behavior Analysts in training. Salary Range $32.00$34.50 per hour depending on experience


POSITION SUMMARY

Community Integrated Services (CIS) is a company that provides a variety of support services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position focuses on providing applied behavior analysis services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities acquired brain injuries and/or autism as well as training other employees to implement behavior supports. This position requires the ability to prioritize work and complete assigned program documentation accurately and within the allotted time frames. Furthermore this position requires the ability to have good public relations skills in working with a variety of outside professionals and state employees effectively train employees on behavior interventions and skill acquisition plans summarize client progress and communicate effectively with others.


AUTHORITY

The Behavior Analyst in Training under the supervision of the Clinical Director (a Board Certified Behavior Analyst) is responsible for writing the positive behavior support plans (PBSPs) and Individual Instruction and Support Plans (IISPs) for people supported by CIS as well as oversight of designated employees.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Regular timely and consistent attendance

Adhere to the Ethics Code for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Conduct ongoing assessments and develop programs for each person assigned to caseload.

Manage the process of drafting and updating Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) Individual Instruction and Support Plan (IISP) Exceptions to Policy (ETP) restrictive procedures incentive plans reduction plans medical device plans and other plans/programs as assigned.

Attend staff training meetings team meetings and/or work with individual employees as needed to train on programs or continue assessments.

Write progress notes to include evaluation of data graphing of data and evaluation of current program as required by DDA policy 5.21.

Meet regularly with treatment team members to coordinate services and provide training to those implementing programs (e.g. DSPs Program Managers).

Attend intake transition and discharge meetings as requested.

Train (instruct model and give feedback) using Behavior Skills Training and provide performance feedback for team members (as needed) on job responsibilities

Consult on cases as needed which could include taking afterhours calls and attending team meetings.

Ensure clients clinical needs are met when using PTO and/or FMLA (e.g. coordinating with a colleague or supervisor to provide necessary oversight).

Other duties as assigned by Clinical Director Program Director Agency Administrator and/or COO.

Follow state policies and procedures.

Serve as an official representative of CIS and market a positive image.

Complete and maintain documentation requirements for supervision as outlined by the BACB and state licensure board.

Requirements

Requirements:

Minimum of least 18 years old

Pass a criminal background check

Pass a drug test

Possess the ability to speak read and write effectively in English

Have reliable transportation a valid drivers license and valid vehicle insurance


Experience or Education:

A Bachelors Degree

Completed or be enrolled in a Masters Degree in Behavior Analysis or related field

Have good public relations skills in working with a variety of outside professionals and state employees.

Able to effectively train employees on behavior interventions.

Provide supervision and oversight of other employees as designated.


Training and Certifications

Maintain required supervision documents for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

The employee may be exposed to various environments including but not limited to the following: aggressive individuals may come in contact with blood and/or saliva and other OPIM.
