Job Description

Job Description
Responsible for maintaining student accounts to include reviewing accounts receivable oversee student billing monitoring and contacting students with outstanding balances preparing student collections receipting payments financial literacy and providing great customer service through both oral and written communications.

Physical Demands
Willingness to work flexible and extended schedule including evenings and infrequent weekends when necessary.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree required. 23 years related experience with a basic understanding of accounting processes. Other Skills/Knowledge Required: Requires strong initiative and ability to consistently apply dependable judgment in assuring compliance with Federal laws and University policies governing the confidential financial information of students. Maintain professionalism proficiency and composure while conducting multiple complex assignments in an environment that is fast paced challenging and at times can be stressful. Mentor and train staff to ensure excellent customer service is given to internal and external customers. Requires skillful knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Suite programs. Requires strong written verbal and interpersonal communication as well as the ability to solve problems.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a university setting.
