Job title: Compliance Analyst

Location: Peterborough three days a week in the office

Salary: up to 45k

Role Overview

This is a fastgrowing Fintech business specialising in pensions and investments. As an Operational Compliance Analyst you will be working across various operational areas of the business and be responsible for conducting compliance monitoring activities. Reporting to the Operations Director this is a key role within their team to ensure all department activity is conducted in accordance with the FCA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct compliance monitoring on internal controls.
  • Provide reports to committees and the Board.
  • Support external audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting and compliance updates.
  • Review product materials to ensure compliance.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
  • Advise teams on compliance rules and regulations.
  • Attend meetings and provide compliance guidance.

Essential requirement

  • 35 years of compliance monitoring experience in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations (SYSC COBS CASS) JMLSG HMRC rules on pensions & ISAs and Data Protection laws.
  • Ability to explain complex regulations in simple terms.
