Job Description
We areSystems LLCa leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment.Wecontinue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.
This is a role within Systems Human Resources group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Perform HR responsibilities within assigned client group including but not limited to daytoday HR employee relations assist client group with performance management compensation/benefits coaching employee engagement employee development cultural change and partner with HR centers of excellence to ensure HR business partnership; ensure successful implementation of foundational HR initiatives; ensure consistent application of company policy and standards and (ii) Work with functional leaders to manage talent acquisition activities including talent upgrade efforts as necessary and advises on market compensation requirements. Coordinates recruiting efforts from job scoping activity through the offer phase.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform HR responsibilities within assigned client group including but not limited to daytoday HR employee relations assist client group with performance management compensation/benefits coaching employee engagement employee development cultural change and partner with HR centers of excellence to ensure HR business partnership; ensure successful implementation of foundational HR initiatives; ensure consistent application of comcompany policy and standards
- Work with functional leaders to manage talent acquisition activities including talent upgrade efforts as necessary and advises on market compensation requirements. Coordinates recruiting efforts from job scoping activity through the offer phase.
- Support the performance management cycle advising and coaching in areas of goal setting midyear feedback annual performance review and the compensation planning process.
- Provide guidance and support on daytoday employee relations issues; conduct employee investigations and escalate complex issues and investigations to HRBP.
- Design presentations and facilitate training to client groups; provide technical expertise and analytical support
- Work with COEs and payroll as necessary in management of employee life cycle processes and transactions; guide the escalation and resolution of HR questions issues and requests to the appropriate channels
- Improve strategic business initiatives such as retention initiatives workforce management and resource planning by analyzing interpreting and reporting data
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions and ensures policies procedures and reporting are in compliance
- Coordinate and assist in the facilitation of onboarding for new hires
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Groups and Systems reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reading professional publications establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Psychology or related field
- 3 years experience in Human Resources majority of which spent in Generalist role
- 1 years experience in employee relations managing complex and sensitive cases
- Masters degree in HR related discipline waives other experience requirements
- Able to travel domestically on occasion
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Indepth knowledge of Federal multistate and local employment laws/regulations and an understanding of application to HR practices policies and programs Ability to work in a matrix environment
- Ability to partner with and support people at all levels of the organization
- Ability to diagnose and analyze problems and drive appropriate solutions
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Consulting experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment in a HR capacity
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of manufacturing or production practices
The payrange/rate of pay for this position is $76900 $125200; base payoffered may vary depending on a number of factors including but not limited to the position offered location education training and/or experience. In addition to base pay also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).This position is eligible for participation in a shortterm incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
