Kendal at Hanover is seeking a parttimeCafe Attendant. The Cafe Attendant serves residents guests and staff in the Cafe in an efficient and organized manner assisting in food preparation and maintaining a sanitary work and service area.
Essential duties and responsibilitiesinclude the following:
- Assuring prompt service to all Kendal residents according to their individual needs.
- Demonstrating knowledge of the menu including daily specials.
- Understanding the grocery program and items available for special orders and having the ability to relay these options to residents and staff.
- Receiving orders for box lunches and grocery orders
- Maintaining service efficiency by performing pre and postmeal side work as required.
- Alerting management to any problems or concerns that arise.
- Assuring sanitation of the Cafe by thoroughly cleaning all work areas before during and after service.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and one three months of related experience and/or training.
The scheduled hours for this position are Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday evenings from 4:00 7:00 PM.
Job Type: Parttime
Pay: $17.25 $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 per week
