Qualifications
The Quality Inspector I is responsible for inspecting components and finished products. This position will serve our Eemax Division located in Waterbury CT.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform receiving inspection for components and finished goods
- Maintain accurate inspection logs & calibration records
- Work closely with quality operations engineering and production line staff to support continuous improvement culture
- Maintain all inspection records and audits to ensure compliance to standards and procedures
- Perform product functional testing
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and 02 years of experience.
- Knowledge of inspection tools measurement methods and practices. Inspection tools include caliper vernier micrometer height gages CMM optical comparator pin and thread gages and torque test gages.
- Experience in blueprint reading
- Keen attention to detail
- Collaborative team player
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask
- Good computer skills (Excel Word)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard a plus
- Comfortable sitting standing or walking for long periods of time
Equivalent combination of education experience and skills may supplement above minimum job requirements.
