Description

The Quality Inspector I is responsible for inspecting components and finished products. This position will serve our Eemax Division located in Waterbury CT.



Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform receiving inspection for components and finished goods
  • Maintain accurate inspection logs & calibration records
  • Work closely with quality operations engineering and production line staff to support continuous improvement culture
  • Maintain all inspection records and audits to ensure compliance to standards and procedures
  • Perform product functional testing
  • Other tasks as assigned



Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and 02 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of inspection tools measurement methods and practices. Inspection tools include caliper vernier micrometer height gages CMM optical comparator pin and thread gages and torque test gages.
  • Experience in blueprint reading
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Good computer skills (Excel Word)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard a plus
  • Comfortable sitting standing or walking for long periods of time

Equivalent combination of education experience and skills may supplement above minimum job requirements.
