Job Description
The Biology Department is seeking applications for a nontenure track Assistant Professor of Biology position for a 1 to 3year contract with the potential for renewal. The successful candidate will teach lecture and lab courses in Anatomy and Physiology for nursing and prehealth students as well as other biology courses such as microbiology as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.
- Expected teaching load is 32 credits per year. The position will begin on August 16 2025. More information about our department may be found at
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Biology or closely related discipline Commitment to innovative development of curriculum or pedagogical practices
- Demonstrated record of successful undergraduate biology instruction Demonstrated commitment to supporting a diverse population of students in the classroom
