Your Role: As a Development Producer you will be at the heart of developing ideas that inform and engage The Sun audiences. Responsible for helping devise develop and produce original content with a focus on developing serialised shortform content for digital platforms as well as branded content sponsored series and documentaries.
Day to day you will:
Generate and develop fresh new series and formats for The Sun Sun Sport and Fabulous delivering innovative popular factual short and midform show ideas aimed at young global audiences and successful digital distribution.
Target develop and manage new onscreen talent suitable for young digitalfirst audiences.
Organise the efficient production and delivery of high quality proposals and treatments for a diverse range of clients.
Work closely with the Commissioning Editors and Producers to analyse content and create new ideas that can be produced within the timescales and budgets available in the teams.
Pursue new client opportunities within the fast moving world of digital video.
Development of longform documentaries. Both one off and series based.
What we are looking for from you:
Must have proven experience of creating successful factual and factent content for TV and digital platforms possess excellent writing skills have a journalistic sensibility and a talent for producing and pitching interesting creative ideas.
Be well informed of platforms trends and developments in digital video creation and distribution.
