Essential Job Functions:
We are thrilled to add a highly organized and detailoriented individual to our finance team as a parttime accounts receivable/accounts payable (AR/AP) clerk. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions ensuring accuracy and contributing to the overall efficiency of our accounting processes.
Primary responsibilities include:
Accounts Receivable
Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables ensuring timely collections.
Record all cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts.
Accounts Payable
Process vendor invoices verify accuracy and obtain necessary approvals.
Prepare and process payments to vendors ensuring timely disbursements.
Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies.
Data Entry and RecordKeeping
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all financial transactions.
Enter financial data into the accounting system with a high level of precision.
Assist in the maintenance of organized and welldocumented financial files.
Additional clerk tasks may be assigned as needed.
Communication and Collaboration
Communicate with customers and vendors regarding paymentrelated inquiries.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Reporting
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and summaries as needed.
Provide regular updates on AR/AP status to the finance team.
Compensation: $2428 Hourly

Experience & Skill:
Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficient in using accounting software QuickBooksOnline preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a parttime role.
Familiar with relevant laws regulations and best practices.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Physical Demands:
May include lifting and supporting up to 50 pounds
Ability to work at a desk conference table or in meetings of various configurations
Ability to stand and circulate for extended periods of time
Daily contact with students teachers and school staff
May be exposed to contact with individuals displaying physically aggressive selfabusive or socially undesirable behavior
