Job Description
Leading national healthcare network seeks an Accountant. This position is hybrid and must be within a commutable distance to Birmingham Alabama.
Responsibilities:
- Record equity syndication and repurchase transactions.
- Ensure all partnership equity accounts and transactions are accurately recorded reviewed and reconciled.
- Validate net income and noncontrolling interest expense aligns with partnership activity.
- Reconcile and authenticate ownership partnerships.
- Prepare and analyze the noncontrolling interest equity rollforward.
- Review and reconcile equity rollforwards for consolidated and nonconsolidated entities.
- Maintain critical relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain procedures to support timely and accurate partnership accounting.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and contribute to monthly financial reporting packages.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting (Finance may be considered with strong experience).
- A minimum of two years of accounting experience.
- CPA or CPAtrack preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Outlook and Word.
- General ledger experience required; PeopleSoft familiarity is a plus.
- Strong understanding of equity accounting and general ledger functions.
Salary:
- $65000 $75000 5 annual bonus
