We Are Looking For

The Senior Accountant will be responsible but not limited to all aspects of accounting duties within our organization. The Senior Accountants responsibilities include preparing FDH Hardware financial statements/reports with analysis and commentary performing account reconciliations maintaining the general ledger preparing tax returns assisting with audit preparations and performing other accounting duties as assigned daily.


What Youll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet and general accounts
  • Review and approve entries of accounting staff for Electronics division
  • Manage the monthend close process prepare JEs where appropriate and ensure proper compliance with GAAP
  • Generate the monthly financial reports and prepare the financial reporting packages
  • Perform variance analyses with appropriate commentary and present results to management
  • Prepare and consolidate weekly Flash reports
  • Produce Budgets and Forecasts according to schedule
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with accounting policies and procedures
  • Train and mentor junior Accounting Electronics staff
  • Prepare and assist with Tax Returns as appropriate
  • Assist with audit preparation investigate and resolve audit findings account discrepancies and issues of noncompliance
  • Suggest ways to improve efficiency and reduce spending
  • Perform other duties as assigned


What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Business Administration
  • CPA/MBA is a plus
  • 57 years experience in Accounting in a fast pace corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles standards and regulations (GAAP IFRS)
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ERP Knowledge and Experience Quantum NetSuite SAP JD Edwards Oracle Dynamics Sage Great Plains
  • Familiarity with reporting/consolidating applications Planful Hyperion OneStream
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
  • Superior analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Illustrate the ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with currency exchange and conversions
  • Intermediate Excel Skills (SUMIFS VLOOKUP INDEX Pivot Table etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Selfmotivated with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability


Special Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) orasylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)3 required.
  • ITAR requirement
  • 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
