***The candidate for this role must reside within the Sutter Health footprint***The Corporate Executive Protection Director is responsible for developing implementing and overseeing executive protection programs to ensure the safety and security of corporate leadership. This role involves conducting risk assessments designing security strategies for domestic travel and managing intelligencedriven protective operations. The director leads executive security teams coordinates with law enforcement and external security partners and integrates security protocols into corporate operations. Additionally this role oversees event security planning workplace violence prevention and crisis response efforts ensuring a proactive approach to mitigating risks that could impact business continuity and executive safety.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelors: Criminal Justice or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
12 years recent relevant experience.
Extensive experience in executive protection including developing implementing and managing a portaltoportal executive protection program.
Proven expertise in designing and deploying protective intelligence programs to support security teams and workforce events.
Strong background in travel security strategy development and implementation to ensure executive and workforce safety.
Demonstrated leadership in recruiting training and managing security teams to maintain high standards of protection and service.
Advanced risk assessment crisis management and event security planning skills to mitigate threats and ensure operational continuity.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Solid expertise in formal/structured security risk assessment methodology including the ability to mitigate risk by synchronizing the efforts and capabilities of people process and technology.
Indepth knowledge of building security staffing models; developing post/patrol strategies; effectively applying security technologies; and coherently blending all program elements with tailored processes to effectively manage risk within a clinical environment.
Understanding of the business impact of security tools technologies and policies.
Broad working knowledge of health care operations and their related security requirements including but not limited to hospitals clinics medical offices and their protective services needs.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of current and emerging physical security trends risks threats countermeasures vulnerabilities and mitigations ranging across the spectrum from workplace violence to terrorism to loss prevention to behavioral challenges.
Written and verbal communication skills including the ability to give presentations and translate complex concepts into business and clinician relatable language.

Pay Range is $75.45 to $120.73 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
