Job Description

Our client a global company in the manufacturing/plastic sector that designs and manufactures safety products is looking for a new Accountant in French and English to join their team in Barcelona.
Tasks
- Manage general accounting for entities in the Netherlands France and a third group company
- Oversee EMEA consolidation and liaise with auditors and consultants
- Process journal entries reconcile bank accounts and review supplier invoices
- Handle accounts payable including aging analysis and payment
- Coordinate with external advisors on CIT VAT INTRASTAT and compliance matters
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing data entry and documentation
- Communicate with customers regarding orders or product availability as needed
- Support special projects and assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks
Requirements
- French Native and full professionallevel of English
- Preferably a bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
- Experience with SAP and familiarity with MS Office are essential
- 35 years of experience in accounting with a strong understanding of accounting procedures
- Experience with consolidation in the Netherlands and accounting management in France
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines
