Carryout assigned project planning activities procedures and systems and provide planning expertise at tender stage/during . construction status reports are promptly and accurately provided and allow prompt project and construction management interpretation and action.
- Liaise with Design Project and Construction Managers for input and updated status purposes.
- Interface with vendors subcontractors company procurement and other project controls staff for management of planning function in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure that appropriate planning techniques and scheduling systems meet the project needs.
- Plan and direct the work of assigned Area Coordinators and follow up on the accuracy and promptness of physical progress reporting to ensure that the needs of project and construction management are met.
- Review the project network for fitness to construction needs and act accordingly.
- Establish earned hours performance and reach agreement with the Client. Monitor and track actual quantity of work installed.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.
- Ensure that construction status reports are promptly and accurately provided and allow prompt project and construction management interpretation and action.
- Ensure the presentation of properly detailed construction performance schedules by the Subcontractors and define the needs for interfacing schedules to ensure fitness between them.
- Participate with the Materials Controller in the review of period materials Expediting Reports to ensure that materials delays are promptly “flagged” and that compensatory action is suitably provided.
- Preparation of Program me Labor Histogram S Curve and staff requirements updating of same on periodical basis.
- Monitor actual progress against baseline activity bars. Liaise with Project Engineer on deviances.
- Preparation of shortterm detailed programs in conjunction with Area coordinators.
- PostGraduation (BSc. Degree in Engineering). Minimum 15 years of experience with 5 years’ experience in offshore projects planning / scheduling in offshore oil and gas projects with excellent knowledge in Primavera (P6 and other project planning scheduling software.
