Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise data architecture. The ideal candidate will develop and drive the implementation of a robust data architecture strategy that supports the bank s business goals with a strong emphasis on data governance integration scalability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive bankwide data architecture strategy ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
Champion the adoption and benefits of a data lakehouse architecture across the organization.
Define and implement data management KPIs OKRs standards policies and procedures to uphold data quality consistency and security.
Design and manage conceptual logical and physical data models to support data integration warehousing and analytics efforts.
Collaborate closely with the Central Data Office and business stakeholders to capture and translate data requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Prepare and maintain architecture documentation including HighLevel Designs (HLD) LowLevel Designs (LLD) Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and strategy papers.
Evaluate recommend and implement cuttingedge data management tools and technologies to enhance data capabilities.
Stay updated with emerging trends in data architecture cloud technologies and governance frameworks.
Simplify communicate and ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory policies including data privacy standards.
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to define datarelated roles responsibilities and workflows across domains.
Work with IT business units and external partners to align data architecture with evolving business needs.
Effectively communicate complex data concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Monitor and continuously optimize data architecture for performance scalability and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Science or related field.
Proven experience (typically 8 years) as a Data Architect or in a related role.
Strong expertise in data modeling metadata management data integration and data governance.
Handson experience with data lakehouse technologies (e.g. Delta Lake Apache Iceberg Snowflake Databricks).
Proficiency in SQL data modeling tools and enterprise architecture frameworks.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and data platforms.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Knowledge of banking industry regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
