Job Title: Certified Welding Inspector
Pay: $28$32/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: MondayFriday 6:00 AM 3:30 PM (Potential Saturdays; hours may vary depending on workload)
Location: Tulsa OK

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our team in Tulsa OK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality safety and compliance of welded structures through thorough inspections and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform visual inspections of welds for compliance with applicable codes (e.g. AWS ASME API) and project specifications
Verify proper welding procedures materials and techniques are used
Review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ)
Conduct weld inspections using NDT methods such as magnetic particle dye penetrant ultrasonic or radiographic testing
Document inspection results issue nonconformance reports and ensure corrective actions are taken
Collaborate with welders supervisors engineers and clients to resolve weldingrelated issues
Maintain inspection records reports and compliance documentation
Monitor and enforce safety and quality standards on job sites and within the fabrication shop
Required Skills & Experience
35 years of welding inspection experience in industrial environments
Strong knowledge of welding codes metallurgy and NDT techniques
Proficient in reading blueprints welding symbols and technical specifications
Excellent attention to detail communication skills and problemsolving ability
Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection tasks effectively
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to maneuver within shop and yard assembly environments
Frequent walking standing climbing ladders and scaffolding crouching twisting and stooping required
